I have 5 Gardening courses that I am currently offering to the public and can be sold by affiliates:
Year Round Gardening – This is my flagship course and also currently my best seller. With 5.5 hours of content all focused on season extension in the garden. This is also currently my longest course. Average Ratings on this course hover around 4.6 stars out of 5. Retail price for this course is $69 and it does sell for that price. But I have found it does very well in the $25 to $30 range so we can offer it at a discount for your readers.
Seed Starting Simplified – This one was actually my first course so I have a soft spot for it in my heart. It comes in at about 3.5 hours of content and sells very well from about November to March. It continues to sell the rest of the year but seems to do best in the winter and early spring. Lifetime ratings on this course are 4.75 starts. This one retails at $30 but we can do a $20 price for your readers.
The Beginners Guide to Vegetable Gardening – This course sits at around 3 hours of content and sells really well to beginning gardeners. Life time ratings on this one also sit at 4.75 stars. It sells pretty consistently all year. Also retailing at $30 this one sells well for $20 and fits nicely into posts about basic gardening!
Growing Tomato Heaven – This is my newest course. It was released in late April of 2016. I’m excited to see how this course does this next spring. I had some production hold ups and I didn’t get this one out as soon as I’d hoped and really missed the “pre-tomato” season. This course is 1.5 hours long and has my highest life time rating of 4.8 stars!! It retails for $20 but because it is shorter I usually sell it for $10 to $15 and it does very well at that price.
PVC Drip Irrigation – This is a shorter very specialized course. It is 1.5 hours long and can easily be watched in an evening. This one has a life time rating of 4.65. This course is just a good solid producer. It is priced low enough and is on such a unique topic that is really does well organically! The retail price is set at $20 but I always sell this one for $10!
The Affiliate rate for selling my courses is 25%. On top of that I often have special promotions where I offer a bonus for sales of certain courses. Black Friday is a great example, where I offer a $1 per course sold bonus for that week long sale.
I can design special artwork to fit your needs if one of my basics doesn’t work.
All of the Stoney Acres Online Garden courses are currently being hosted at Udemy.com (as of 11/1/16). Udemy is a great platform and they make my courses look great! Using Udemy as an affiliate program requires the use of a Coupon Code Link. If you join my program you need to keep in mind that all readers must arrive at my courses via the coupon code link in order for both of us to get full credit for the sale. Just having the coupon code isn’t enough. They must follow the link!

Affiliate Agreement
For Online Services
This Affiliate Agreement is made on ________________________ by and between
Stone Mountain Industries LLC, Hereinafter referred to as (“Company”) and
___________________________________, hereinafter referred to as (“Affiliate”).
WHEREAS, the Affiliate hereby wish to engage in Company’s Affiliate online program and Affiliate wishes to provide certain online services to Company as provided in this Agreement.
THEREFOR IN CONSIDERATION THEREOF, all parties herein hereby agree to the terms and conditions set forth below.
1. Affiliate Services. Affiliate Services are described as follows;
Stone Mountain Industries LLC Online Video Courses:
Seed Starting Simplified: Regular Course Price – $30.00 (US)
Year Round Gardening: Regular Course Price – $40.00 (US)
Build a PVC Drip Irrigation System: Regular Course Price – $20.00 (US)
Vegetable Gardening Basics: Regular Course Price – $30.00 (US)
Growing Tomato Heaven: Regular Course Price – $20.00 (US)
Ideas for blog related promotions include; (a) Written reviews of Company’s video courses on Affiliates web sites, (b) Mentions and reviews of Company’s video courses on Affiliates live broadcasts and podcasts, (c) Promotion of Company’s video courses by Affiliate on any social media platform, (d) Mentions or reviews of Company’s video courses in Affiliates email newsletters to Affiliates subscription lists. (e) Company is also willing to provide a guest post on any of the course topics that would end with an invite to buy the course. (f) The company can provide a banner ad to be placed on the affiliates website. (g) The company is willing to discuss any other promotional ideas the affiliate my have as well.
If Affiliate is willing promote the Company’s video courses in any of the above mentioned methods the Company will provide the following to the Affiliate:
A. The company will offer the course to the affiliates readers at a discount; this discount may vary based on time of year and the affiliate can opt in or out of any promotions. For example the company may offer holiday specials and other short term promotions (like end of season specials). The company will discuss any pricing changes with the affiliate before making any changes to banner ads, etc.
B. The company will pay a referral fee of 25% for each of the affiliates readers that buys the course from Udemy.
C. The company will provide the affiliate with a coupon code for your readers to use that will tie the referral back to your post and let us know who sold the course. Please be sure that you emphasize in your post that your readers must use that coupon code to buy the course. Otherwise I will not know that the referral came from you. Any banner ads will have a coupon code specific to your site for tracking purposes.
D. Udemy allows students up to 30 days to return the course for a full refund. Because of that policy I won’t get paid until mid month, 2 months following the close of the month in which the course was sold. So for example; one of your readers buys the course on January 10th. The Company will not get paid for that course until around March 15th and will pay referral fees then. (I just tell you this so that you understand that it could be more than 60 days before either of us gets paid.)
E. Something else you need to be aware of. Udemy has an affiliate program. The way the program works currently is the affiliate marketer drops a cookie on the customers computer that tells Udemy they are an affiliate referral. If that customer purchases a course on Udemy within 7 days then the sale shows up as an affiliate sale, weather the actual course they bought was a result of the affiliates efforts or not. I really don’t like this policy but it is the reality of Udemy for the time being. (They claim to be working on a fix). What this means is there is a chance that one of your readers may have been on an Udemy affiliate site and therefore has the cookie. So even if they buy the course using the coupon code the credit will go to the affiliate. In that case I will only get 25% of the total. So in those very rare cases your referral fee would be only 25% of my net. My understanding is this is a fairly rare transaction on Udemy so I doubt we will ever have to deal with it, but I wanted you to know the possibility was out there.
F. In order to pay you I will need your tax ID information (please fill out the attached w-9). For the time being I will be cutting actual checks, so I will also need a good mailing address.
G. I am also willing to give you two free copies of the course. One for you to use for yourself and a second that you can give away to your readers. This will be accomplished with a coupon code for Udemy that will give you the course for free.
2. Performance of Work. Affiliate shall be solely liable for the performance of the requested services. The Company reserves the right to monitor Affiliate’s performance so as to verify that the Agent is performing its obligations in accordance to the terms and conditions herein. Company may ask, from time-to-time, Affiliate to provide records and documentation regarding Affiliate’s performance.
3. Term. This agreement shall commence on ______________ and shall continue for a period of 1 year. This agreement may be terminated by either party at any time with written notice (email is acceptable). Both parties agree that if this agreement is terminated and the Affiliate leaves their promotional items active (for example a blog post and online review). That the company will leave the coupon code active for a period of 6 months and will continue to pay commissions during that time.
4. Commissions. Affiliate’s commissions will be based on a certain percentage per sale. Affiliates commission rate is 25% of the amount the Company receives for the sale.
5. Company reserves the right to amend this agreement as needed from time to time and Affiliate agrees that all such amendments will apply to Affiliate.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Affiliate Agreement effective on the day and year first above- written.
